Batch reactors

Our batch reactor systems are parallelized, highly automated, lab-scale systems that typically operate four to eight reactors with excellent comparability and generate high-quality data. They boost productivity when evaluating catalysts, for example for hydrocycling applications, and when synthesizing battery materials. They also provide high-quality data that are scalable to commercial plants. The technology platform has been optimized over decades. It is modular, robust, and validated for numerous chemical applications. A software package developed by hte supports it in both system operation and data evaluation. The technology platform can also be used for polymerization applications.

8-fold System 

This example system comprises eight parallel Hastelloy autoclaves, each with a reactor volume of 300 ml. These can be operated flexibly over a wide pressure and temperature range with excellent comparability and deliver high-quality data.  


4-fold System 

In this project, a four-fold system was implemented with three autoclaves in reaction mode and one autoclave in activation mode. The system is equipped with Hastelloy autoclaves and designed to handle pressures up to 7 barg and temperatures up to 85°C.
