The world is facing growing technological diversity and the value chain is adapting to alternative feedstocks. Renewable feedstocks, CO2-based routes, and plastic recycling are becoming increasingly important. In addition, the electrifi cation of industry is enabling new technologies and processes, while established processes are facing challenges. In times of change, the market demands a higher degree of flexibility with respect to process and catalyst optimisation studies and trying out new disruptive ideas quickly. This article will explore a flexible compact screening platform that aims to find the sweet spot between catalyst screening and process optimisation.
