The introduction of more stringent emission regulations is continuously increasing the requirements for highly efficient and robust NOx aftertreatment systems. Two different catalytic technologies are available for controlling NOx emissions:

NOx trapping followed by regeneration using a lean NOx trap (LNT)

Selective reduction of NOx (SCR) using ammonia-based reductants

High Throughput Testing of LNT catalysts

LNT CATALYST PREPARATION AND TESTING

  • High throughput workflows for small-scale slurry preparation of LNT catalysts established, including ageing procedures
  • Parallel testing of LNT catalysts in 48-fold units using validated test protocol with lean/rich feed switches

DATA QUALITY

  • 1 Hz data acquisition and data processing using myhteTM software environment
  • LNT test protocols have been validated at hte and correlated to core tests and engine data
