hte sub pilot plants are parallel reactor systems which have the capability of testing 10x more catalyst than our normal testing technology. The purpose of such units is not so much focused on the discovery work as the developmental work and the acquisition of even higher quality of data for robust kinetic model development and process simulation. By scaling up by an order of magnitude, we aim to address more complex reactions.
hte's parallel, sub-pilot scale reactor systems offer our clients tremendous value through the speed with which large, high-quality data sets for modelling and simulation can be generated, as well as in reduced operational costs relative to a conventional pilot plant.
Parallel reactor systems such as these could also play a valuable role in operational support roles i.e. process optimisation, feedstock or catalyst selection, quality control, etc.
