Essential Tools for Parallel Experimentation

The design and construction of parallel reactor systems is central to our business. We view the discovery and early-stage development of catalytic process technology as being composed of three stages and offer tools that address the requirements of each of these:

  • Stage I – Catalyst screening technology With these systems we can screen catalysts 96, 192, 384 or 625 at a time in order to eliminate inactive materials and highlight promising candidates for further evaluation.
  • Stage II – Catalyst testing technology Our 16- and 48-reactor fixed-bed units can be used for catalyst testing under gas-phase, gas-to-liquid and trickle-bed applications. For liquid phase evaluations we have multi-autoclave and parallel bubble-column systems for 2- and 3-phase reactions under batch, semi-batch and continuous conditions.
  • Stage III – Sub-Pilot Systems Our state-of-the-art sub-pilot units enhance developmental work by combining parallel testing with exceptional levels of data quality.
