New Office Building

Dr. Eckart Würzner is one of several prominent guests attending the groundbreaking ceremony for hte AG's new office building.

The company's significant contribution to promoting renewable energies provides important support for the science and research campus in Heidelberg," comments Dr. Eckart Würzner, Lord Mayor of the City of Heidelberg, at the groundbreaking ceremony.

The symbolic breaking of ground is celebrated by Dr. Eckart Würzner, Dr. Dirk Demuth, CEO at hte AG, Dr. Wolfram Stichert, CFO at hte AG, as well as Dr. Friedrich Seitz, Head of the BASF Competence Center Process Research and Chemical Engineering. hte makes a valuable contribution to the quality of the whole Rhein-Neckar region as an economic location, including Heidelberg, and enriches the technological and scientific landscape.

With capital expenditure of approx. €1.5 million, the construction of the building represents an important investment in the future of the research service provider and extends the total floor space of the laboratory, workshop and office areas to more than 9,000 square metres. hte AG has continually increased its workforce since it was founded in 1999. What started off as an enterprise with just 7 founder members now has some 250 employees, which is the main reason behind the decision to expand the premises. The new building is just one part of an expansion project which includes construction of four further buildings by 2015.
