Executive Board

 

Dr. Dirk Demuth:  CEO 

Dr. Dirk Demuth is one of the co-founders of hte AG, Heidelberg and has been Managing Director since inception in 1999 and CEO since 2000. Over the years he has applied his valuable experience in management, business development and technology financing and has successfully contributed to establishing an internationally recognised science and technology enterprise with a wide ranging 'blue-chip' client base. Since 2003, he has also been responsible for  hte's operations, utilising his broad experience in industrial R&D processes.

Before joining hte in 1999, Dr. Demuth was employed as an R&D Project Leader for BASF AG, Ludwigshafen, working within the field of catalyst research and scale-up for raw chemicals and intermediates.

Dr. Demuth holds a degree in chemistry and graduated from the University of Mainz with a PhD in Applied Materials Science in 1994. In 2001, he was joint recipient of the German Science Prize, "Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft", for the successful symbiosis of basic science and commercial implementation.

 


Dr. Wolfram Stichert: CFO

Dr. Wolfram Stichert has been a board member of hte AG since 2000 and CFO of the company since 2003. Also being one of the co-founders of the company, he joined hte as one of the first employees in 1999 and has headed several organisational and scientific teams to support hte's foundation and growth processes. He brings in the asset of having both an economical and scientific background, which is of significant value for a fast growing science and technology company like hte, especially with respect to his current responsibilities in corporate finance, human resources, intellectual property, investor relations and business development.

Dr. Stichert studied economics and chemistry, receiving a degree in economics from the University of Hagen as well as a degree and PhD in chemistry from the University of Frankfurt. In 2001, he was joint recipient of the German Science Prize, "Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft" for the successful symbiosis of basic science and commercial implementation.
