hte is very fortunate to be situated in the stunning city of Heidelberg which is located on the river Neckar in Southwest Germany. Heidelberg itself is regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in Germany and is visited year upon year by millions of tourists, who travel from all over the world to soak up the romantic atmosphere and take in the breathtaking sights of the city – in particular the famous castle which dominates the Heidelberg skyline. The city has attracted many famous visitors over the years including Goethe who is known to have visited the city on several occasions and was attracted to Heidelberg due to its outstanding beauty.

elberg has proved to be an excellent location with Frankfurt airport on its doorstep. Situated around just 80km away, the airport puts hte within easy reach for international visitors. Frankfurt airport itself is Germany’s busiest airport covering many international destinations. In addition to this, Heidelberg’s central location within Europe makes travelling by train to many European cities quick and very accessible.
Heidelberg - city of innovators
Heidelberg has a reputation for being an international education venue for doctoral students with approximately 1000 doctorates completed each year and around one third of those students coming from abroad. In the business world, Heidelberg graduates and staff have also gone on to (co-) found or head several large companies such as ABB Group, BASF, Daimler AG, Deutsche Bank, Siemens AG and Thyssen AG.
