As a service provider, hte develops and optimizes new materials and processes in our labs on behalf of our clients. As a technology provider, we design, construct and implement high throughput systems and software solutions in research laboratories worldwide. This is achieved through the combination of expertise in the fields of engineering, information technology and chemistry together with proprietary technologies and approaches for high throughput experimentation.
hte Aktiengesellschaft is part of the BASF SE group. BASF has held a stake in hte since 2003 through its subsidiary BASF Venture Capital. In 2008, however, BASF increased its stake from 12.7 percent to 75 percent plus one share. The financial capabilities of the BASF group have significantly strengthened hte’s position in the competitive landscape of high throughput experimentation technology and services.
